Is Standard Charging an electrical contractor?
No. Standard Charging coordinates charging opportunities, host/sponsor relationships, and project documentation. Electrical assessment, permitting, and installation are performed by licensed installation partners.
How fast is free charging?
The current educational example uses a 5 kW free-charging limit. If a vehicle charges for 2 hours at 5 kW, it receives about 10 kWh, assuming the vehicle can accept that rate.
What does 5 kW mean?
kW is speed. A 5 kW limit means energy can flow at about 5 kilowatt-hours per hour while charging conditions support it.
Who handles repairs?
Issues should be reported so they can be documented and routed. Electrical repairs are handled by qualified partners or the responsible equipment/network provider.
How do sponsors help?
Sponsors support visible local infrastructure and receive practical community marketing assets in return.
What should I do if a charger looks damaged?
Do not touch broken cables, exposed parts, or equipment that looks loose, hot, wet, or damaged. Report the issue from a safe distance using the Report a Charging Issue form.
