Public charging terms of service

By using a Standard Charging-operated EV charging station, you agree to these terms.

The basics

• Charging is free to the driver. We don’t bill you, ever.
• Each session is capped at a kilowatt or time limit posted at the charger.
• Use the charger in good faith. Move your vehicle when done; don’t use it to charge non-EV equipment.

What we don’t guarantee

• That a charger will be available or working at any given time. We aim for 95%+ uptime.
• That the charger is compatible with every vehicle. J1772 connectors work with every EV sold in North America.

Liability

Standard Charging’s total liability to any driver is capped at the amount you paid—which is zero. Use at your own risk, the same way you would use a public water fountain. This is not a waiver of liability we cannot legally disclaim.

Privacy

Governing law

Oregon law. Disputes resolved in the state or federal courts of Linn County, Oregon.
